My new Model 14 American Classic Stainless in .243

Just got this rifle and have been looking for a spare magazine for it and can't find the specific model of gun when looking for a magazine, anyone know if any other models magazines work with the model 14. Thanks

There are two styles for 10/110 series... besides that, there are short and long actions... Yours is either what we call "Axis Style" or "All metal or traditional" for .243. However, if you go online to purchase one, I don't know what to tell you to describe it in technical or correct terms. Best, most absolute answer, therefore, is to contact Savage Customer Service Monday. Or, go to the website tomorrow and, in "Find date of manufacture" under "Customer Service" and enter your s/n. From there you can pull up a part number for the correct magazine assembly off the schematic.

Called savage for part number for mine. 55105, they say the finish is matte black, also available in silver. Original part # was 55102, high luster finish is discontinued $62 plus shipping
