Sorry to here that... A couple wacks with a claw hammer to the crown should fix that issue. Your not the first person to have this problem with a savage
I sent it to Fred Moreo @ Sharp Shooter Supply for Pillars and Glass Bedding and now when I shoot every bullet goes in the same hole! My range is only 100 yards but shooting 55 grain Hornady factory ammo it shoots one ragged hole. I have accurate 700s, accurate bull barrel free floated ARs but my Savage beats em all. I have to give credit where credit is due: Thanks Fred and Savage's Rule

Pics or it didn't happen. :)
That's a shame. If I were you, I'd get rid of it.
I'll look for it in the classifieds.
VISA loves me since I joined this site.
I learned that trick from someone on this forum. Fire one round into the target, and the next four into the back stop
Next thing you know, everyone is bugging you about how to make their gun shoot like that….LOL
Sarcasm aside, it's nice to see a good plan come together, isn't it?
BTW: How new is it?
The beauty of a Savage..........accuracy!

All of My Savages shoot like that !
I just wish "I" could ! ;-))
Very nice gun you got there, Sonny. I've got about 3500 rounds down the tube of my year old 12 BVSS in 223. I typically (still) get 1/3 MOA with 53 gr. Sierra FBHP. 69 gr MK HPBT and Tipped MK also shoot very tight.
What caliber is your?
