Antique single shot Stevens .22 pistol

I've had this pistol forever. It has been a gun cabinet queen for the past 20 years. Heck I have forgotten about it more times than I could count.
This morning I was rummaging around in there looking for the front post site adjuster for my AR and there it was. I picked it up and realized it could use a good cleaning.
I pulled it all apart and scrubbed it all up. She's gorgeous.
Can anybody tell me a model or maybe a production year?

Looks like an "Off Hand" model with a 10" barrel.

I just found this one on gunauction.com . It could be the same model with the exception of the grips, rear site and finish.

It's the checkering that makes them different.

That makes them specialty pistols, the Gould, Lord and Conlin were all checkered specialty pistols.

And with further research, I have found that mine is missing the nickel plating on the receiver.
No worries. Still a cute lil ****.

I think the #35 Stevens Off Hand was originally sold with a blued finish, not nickel but it may have been an extra you could buy.

So it's not really missing it, it's factory correct.

    I'm going to agree. It's a number 35.
Made in the first lot between 1907 and 1916.
I didn't think it was worth what these brought tho.
