New here and recently have began building my own Savage rifles. I've done a .223 and a .308 so far both turning out better than my expectations. They were both kind of low budget used parts rigs but now that I have some experience under my belt I'm going to start my next build with new/higher quality parts and see how nice of rifle I can build. Next one will probably be a .284 win. I'm looking to get into a 7mm non magnum cal.
I've recently got into re loading to shoot more economical & more accurate ammunition. I have 2 ranges set up one in SD @ my home and one in ND where my business is. I can get to 1150 yards at either but will be able to get out to a mile at the SD range this spring with a few improvements. So far my main long range rifle is a 6.5 Creedmoor Savage LRH but I also shoot a 6.5-284 custom Remington 700 LA and have just started to play with the Model 10 .308 I put together recently.
Looking forward to furthering my Savage education here. Thanks
