Weaver rail screws???

Bought a weaver tactical rail and the screws are to short to tighten the rail to the action?? Please help!! Mounting to a 10pc 223 thanks in advance

Contact weaver about it. The chances of you finding the 6-48 screws needed locally isn't likely from a hardware store but I'd imagine a gunsmith or gun shop would have them. But if I bought a new rail with incorrect hardware calling the manufacturer would be my first step. To not even engage the threads means they are waaaay short.
