What is the best trigger for a F-class competition Savage rifle ?
I can not speak from personal experience but most seem to like SSS Evolution as the ultimate (but expensive). The Rifle Basix Sav-2 seems to be next followed by SSS Standard and Rifle Basix Sav-1 as the least expensive. I shoot an Accu-Trigger so none of this is my personal experience but I do follow what is said on the Forum.
I use the RB sav2 in 2 rifles and like them...i polished all contact points with 2500 grit sand paper and both are very smooth,break clean with no over travel or creep...they take a little tuning to get just right...the one thing i dont like is the side movement so im going the play with shimming the sides on one this winter.
I was able to take the side movement out by stoning small brass washers down to the proper thickness and installed them on the mounting pin.
