Hog hunter conversion to mdt chassis

I have 11 hog hunter in 223 with internal box magazine..the mdt has ar type bottom fed magazines..when I convert to chassis do I need to do anything with old mag in preparation...is it part of old stock,or action?..they claim it's a 2 bolt drop in affair, but I've heard that before..

Bolt it in and shoot it, you'll need AICS style magazines.

Yup, that is correct. No need for anything else. Old stock and any part of it becomes obsolete
