    Ithaca M 37 extraction troubles

If need for a follow up shot isn't an issue, you can make the extractor pull the spent shell out all day long.
When racking the slide for a quick follow up, once in a while, but often enough that it's more than an
annoyance the spent shell stays in the chamber.
I've pulled it apart, the extractors have no visible wear. The hulls are all AA trap, with no bulging or marks
made by the extractors when failing to remove it.

Priced out a complete rebuild of the bolt from Numrich; the springs and pins are reasonable, but the extractors
make me want to try and fix the specific part. (Yeah I'm cheap)

Bolt is clean, junk isn't an issue.

    What's next?

    I'd replace the springs first.
Make sure the holes for the springs and plungers isn't clogged up with residue.
I've had quite a few Ithaca M37 shotguns over the years, and don't recall a lot of issues.
