    20 moa scope base

So I'm building a long range target rifle and I'm needing bases and rings. I'm gonna run a viper pst 6-24×50 scope. I'm not looking to spend 300 to 400 dollars on rings and bases. But I do want a good quality rings and bases. I will bed the base and lap the rings I don't mind doing that. I think that's what makes it fun. I do prefer steel. Thanks in advance. This is going on a savage 110. Converted to a 6.5-284.

See if you can find some left over Seekins Precision mounting pieces. There were a bunch of Black Friday sales with bases as low as $90 and rings even cheaper. Will probably set you back somewhere around $170 or so for the set but the quality is top notch and you won't have to worry about lapping or anything like that.

Otherwise, EGW bases are fine for what they are and I've heard nothing but good things about Burris Signature and TPS rings.

You won't go wrong with a set of Burris Signature rings with inserts and an EGW 20 MOA base. I don't recall what the Burris rings run but, the EGW base is $39.95.

This is the best set up I have found. 30mm Signature rings are $52 at SWFA. They come with 0 and 10 inserts, never a ring mark on your tube with signature rings.

I'm using same scope and I used Vortex rings. They are "outstanding" at about $65. I am going to change to a 20moa base so thank you for the thread.

I have the same scope on an LRP. I ordered the scope rings from SWFA. They are aluminum but I have had them for 3 years. Only cost 35 dollars for the set. I have them on an EGW 20 MOA base. It works.

Midway have a Nightforce 20MOA base for $57 & free shipping right now. I put 1 on a short action model 10. Fits perfect.
