convert centerfire action to rimfire?

Have any discussions happened about converting a short action centerfire to a rimfire? I'm having no luck with the "key word search". Seems like this whole switch bolt/switch barrel community must have asked this question at some point.

That's a pretty easy conversion. The going rate is 2 rimfires for a centerfire.
