.223 Hog Hunter load workup questions

Recently, I purchased a used hog hunter model 11.
My father in law hand loads for all of our Savage rifles, for hunting, and target shooting.
He is curious, and wondering if anyone has a quick load workup for the short barreled Model 11 HH Savage (20" barrel) that will give us equal velocity out of the shorter barrel, that is on par with a standard barrel length in similar Model 11, 12, Savage rifles. (22" barrels?)

We are currently using a Sierra Game King 65gr Boat tail, Soft Point with Varget powder, in his Model 112 24" heavy barrel.

We're those loads fired at 100yds? Or what distance were the groupings recorded?

All targets were shot at 50 yds as the rifle had only a 4X scope and I have old eyes.
