The SWFA anything short of the 5-20 has VERY mushy turrets. The 10X's have a deserved relation for quality, but the glass isn't special. For a dash more buy a Primary Arms, 4-14X FFP Mil/Mil. The glass is noticeably better than the SWFA 3-15.
Ok so first off i have two guns one in which i built and the other is all stock
284 win on a long action custom build wears a cheap vortex crossfire 6-24 scope
338 lapua 110 hs precision wears a vortex pst 6-24
these guns are both long range bench guns for me as of now to heavy to tote around and have alot of fun at the range with them out to 1000 or so
So with that being said thinking of selling the pst and buying two swfa ss 10x scopes for my range rifles
But havent any experience with the swfa ss first hand

I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.
I shoot 1000 yds with a SS 16X. Can put some pretty good strings together when the gods are on my side - 10's and X's with a 6.5 projectile. I've had 4 or 5 single power SWFA scopes. The 20X gets too much mirage in the heat. 10's 2's and 16's are good for target shooting at ranges where the magnification you choose gets the job done. I agree with Darker the glass is not "awesome" on their single power non HD scopes but it is good enough and they are durable due to not having a bunch of internal parts for Multi power. They are running 225 to 275 used.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
