    Savage owner


    I needed a deer rifle a few years ago and after much (too much) infoseek I bought a Model 11 in 7-08 and what a wonderful meat harvester it is. A few years ago I purchased a Model 99 G in 30 WCF and am getting the itch to make it a harvester as well. My long time friend and hunting brother died not long ago and left me his Model 99F in 250-3000 that he let me use to kill my first deer 40 years ago, what a prize!!! He also left me a Rem 722 in 300 SAV and I plan to hunt that one as well. I feel blessed, and I excited to see what's what in this site.
