I have on in 260. I read you can get a Basic Trigger for these
Fully adjustable lighter pull
I just bought a stainless Striker, no manual. Are there instructions for adjusting the trigger here somewhere?
Or?
Thanks;

There are 3 generations of Savage triggers. If you could look at your linkage and describe it, we may be able to tell you how yours adjust. It is pretty simple but because of the linkage you never really get a great trigger without some true work to take away play in the system.
More shooting, less typing.
I have a gen one striker. Where can I get a parts breakdown? Having trouble finding a procedure for adjusting the trigger. It is an excellent trigger, by the way. Breaks like glass at 2 pounds. After cleaning it I want to set it back up.
Thanks,
John
I wrote that in 2012 and I was 73. Not that I have lost interest in these past 4 years....I haven't but there are still only 24 hrs in a day and a few heart surgeries and joint replacements rearranges ones priorities. So Here I am again with the same request: Info on the trigger and source for a service manual.
Thank you,
John

Gen 1, how about the rifle basix sear, does that work?
For the record I will update this topic so a search will turn up all the info I am aware of:

http://www.6mmbr.com/gunweek083.html This is just a great story about the Striker and detailed trigger adjust info.
