    Remage build complete

Finally got my remage conversion finished.....
    Heres a couple pics...

Rem M700 SA converted to Remage style
26in Mcgowen 1/8 twist 1in bull chambered in 6mmx55 swede improved
Boyds Pro varmint stock in sky
    Bedded and pillared.
    EGW 0 MOA rail
    Burris Veracity 4-20x50 FFP scope

Velocities are running in the mid 3400s with 105gr Hornady Hpbt on my 1st load workups.
Accuracy isnt quite what Im wanting. I bedded about 2in of the barrel, I wonder if that may be the culprit.
Any suggestions or input in that regard would be appreciated.
Fun project and cant wait to get it dialed in good and stretch it out.

1: Learn to shoot better, LOL
2: At 3400 FPS your not trying very hard.
3: Yes that bedded barrel is very questionable.
    4: Now get to work.
    5: Nice job

Thanks Deano! I appreciate all the insight! Lol
1: I keep thinking all my guns are at fault....it maybe me 😉
    2: I actually hit 3490 on my last charge....52.0 or 52.5gr of Re22
I didnt notice anything indicating pressure either.
3: Thats what Im leaning toward right now. My thought was with that heavy bull barrel, extra bedding might help, but Im not so sure.
4: Ill do my best 👍
    5: Thanks! 😆

I've thought about trying a Remage.

If I do, the first thing I'd add is a Jewell trigger. I hear they are "the Bomb".

Where would you start yobuck? Just curious....Im just doin velocity workups right now, upping my charges in .5gr increments.
Im basing my accuracy thing mostly on my fireform loads. I figured theyd be less than MOA...they weren't lol. Even on my velocity workups, I expected some variations....obviously. Ill post some groups when I get a chance. Maybe Im just making my claim a little premature.

Its easy fox, I happened to have one not being used, thats why I did it. Ive got a post on it somewhere here showing the steps. Its getting a trigger sometime for sure. My smith worked on the factory one(years ago) and its decent, but I definitely want a better one.

    Thanks Drthunder! I appreciate it!
    Thanks guys!

first if your fire forming brass dont worry about accuracy worry about that after your brass is formed...second...if this is going to be a target rifle id suggest you loose the bedding forward of the lug...ive seen it cause problems 3 times...the problems went away when removed.

    nice looking rifle too!
