Not from the factory Axis stock. Boyds uses the trigger guard from side bolt release 1X/11X rifles. Boyds actually has the some of the best prices for the trigger guards, so it's a good idea to pick one up when you order your stock.
I am ordering a pro varmint for my axis heavy barrel. I was wondering if I don't get the trigger guard from them does my old trigger guard just bolt into the new stock ???

All 4 of my Boyds stocks for the Axis shipped with a trigger guard in place, granted it is a plastic one. On my last three I upgraded it to the stainless steel one.
On the page for the stock they give you the part number for the SS guard, it's like $15 and well worth the upgrade.
D'oh! I totally neglected the plastic guard that comes with the stock!
Eh, it's easy to forget especially since it is not a great piece.
What I do like about ordering the SS guard is that they still ship you the plastic one as well. I use the plastic one while doing the bedding just in case epoxy gets places it shouldn't while doing the rear action screw. Breaking the plastic guard off from the epoxy would be a lot easier than the SS one in case something were to go wrong.
Got it figured out.
Now I have to make the big decision. Black or green
So my order jsut went in.
Zombie Green
13.5"LOP
High Gloss
Adj Cheek
Limbsaver pad
