.223 to .243 conversion HELP NEEDED

I am in the process of converting a 110 in .223 to .243. Barrel is in and headspace but I am running into issues with the bling mag. The receiver does not have the cut to allow the mag to slide in. The new .308 based mag I order from Midway does not fit in the original stock. What am I missing?

Just to quickly state the obvious, your parts are mismatched. Now I do not have any info that would help but if you post some pics I bet one of the many knowledgable member here will give you detailed info on what you need to solve the problem.

What he said. Staggerfeed mags stay attached to the action while centerfeeds stay in the stock. The SF action has slots cut into the receiver to hold the "wings" on the magazine.
