    110 date of mfg

I have an older .270 serial # F146112. I'm thinking about putting a lighter weight stock on the gun but I'd like to know the mfg date and details. I can't my paperwork from when I bought it. I'm thinking 1990 or 91.

Thanks for any advice and info offered

    To quote McFurious:
"Manufacture date would fall in the 1988-1995 range, and given the low number I'd say it would be somewhere in the lower half of that range. "
You have a long action, so the lighest stock would be a long action "Tupperware" factory stock. Personally, I'd go with a walnut stock, which would be lighter than a laminated stock. Look in the classified sections as there are walnut and laminated for sale right now.
