    Stock recoil pad on 111 300 Win Mag


    I just got a new Savage 111 Trophy Hunter XP in 300 Win Mag.

    How is the recoil pad that comes on it? Obviously, I haven't fired it yet, but I am wondering if I really need to upgrade the pad or if the one on it is fine, in most peoples opinions?

    It's not bad. A little better wouldn't hurt though.
