How close do you consider close?
Im about 90/100 by road, probably half as the crows fly.

I don't know anyone shooting across the river but know several who shoot mountain to mountain

Yes. At my brother's campsites. They got shut down a year or so ago. I don't know all details, but it wasn't my brother.

Id heard that also, apperently somebody who owned some of the land across the river shut them down. They were shooting some pretty big stuff which could have
contributed to that.

That's what I heard too. It's to bad. I hunt and live just across the highway from the campsites and it sounded like they were having a lot of fun. I always thought that I would go down and visit them some day.

Ram, Sorry for hyjacking your thread. I would like to hear about your gun build when it 's finished.
