Feedback on the savage 10 fcp-sr

Have any of you had experience with this rifle? I have a savage axis in .223 and I am looking to get my next rifle. It's going to be .308 used for target shooting at the range. No hunting or tactical use just shooting steel as far out as I can.

I was disappointed by the magazine, muzzle threads, and action of mine. For the same price, a Ruger, Tikka, or Winchester would have a much nicer action and shoot tighter.

I started a thread about the new version of this rifle and most users like theirs a lot more than I do mine.
