    223AI feeding issue

My 223 ackley does not feed reliably. Whith regular 223 ammo it feeds flawlessly. Anyone have any tips or know of any tricks that may remedy this problem?

Not much you can do....the case now has less taper than the parent round, and it doesn't want to "funnel" very well into the chamber.

+1, you gotta learn to live with it. My 223AI is set up as a single shot with a single shot follower and I just slide the round into the chamber to eliminate feed problems.

Ah Yes AIs, Sorry to break the news to you but AIs don't feed well in any caliber. It is the price you pay for glory.

RUMs are like woman in Stiletto heals, you know they are going to put you in the poor house, but that has never stopped anyone from pursuing them.

I don't have move'n pictures of my Mod 70 in 270-08Imp but it gobbles them up just as well. My '98 in 280Imp doesn't count, its a controlled bottom feeder.

Bigger cases are less troublesome than the little bitty ones....
