338 Lapua BA110 Camp Atterbury Long Range Shoot August 2015

Made it to the 2000 Yard Long Range competition at Camp Atterbury IN back in August.
Distances were 1200 out to 2000 yards.
This rifle is a replacement rifle Savage sent for the defective one i posted in other threads here on SS.

This was my first time shooting past 1000 yards.
I have access to 1000 yard range (15 mins from my house!) where I have developed my loads and collected my dope. (other posts with Video Links to 1000yd hits)

3 Loads I'm shooting now are:

    Bullet: 300 SMK
Powder: IMR 7977 at 89.0 grains
    Primer: CCI 250
    Brass: Lapua
    Velocity: 2750 fps

    Bullet: 300 SMK
Powder: Reloder 33 at 97.5 grains
    Primer: CCI 250
    Brass: Lapua
    Velocity: 2800 fps

    Bullet: 250 SMK
Powder: H4831sc at 87 grains (10 year old powder)
    Primer: CCI 250
    Brass: Lapua
    Velocity: 2835 fps

I fired the 300 SMK loads at this competition

    Rifle:
Savage BA 110 in .338 Lapua Magnum with IOR 6-24x56 35mm TACTICAL FFP MIL/MIL ILLUMINATED MP-8 XTREME X1 SF

    CONDITIONS:
    600 MSL
    TEMP 75-88
    Winds 3mph-10mph

Began shooting at 9am and finished around 4p

    Target = NRA LR1 72" x 72"
    Any white = 6pts
    8/9 rings = 10pts
    10/X = 12pts

Fired this AMMO load at 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500, 1600, and then again at 2000
    My hit ratio was:
    RE33 loads 22 of 29 for 76%
    6pts X 4 hits
    10pts X 12 hits
    12pts X 5 hits
0pts x 7 misses (6 were first shots at each berm)

Fired This AMMO load at 1700, 1800, 1900 and 2000
    IMR loads 20 of 21 for 95%
    6pts X 10 hits
    10pts X 7 hits
    12pts x 2 hits

I hit the target at all the berms out to 2000 yards.

The IMR load scored better than the RE33.

My 2000 yard score was 38 with 4 hits using the IMR Load and ZERO hits using the RE33 load. (probably would have had a higher score but wanted to collect dope on the RE33)

This STOCK Savage 110 BA did well matched up against the other 338's on the line.

    I recall a couple of TRG-42
and Tom Myers with a 338 Norma Mag (Grand Champion)

Can't see pictures. How large were targets? Is this the same 26in barrel in my 112 magnum target model without the fluting?

    NRA LR1 target dimensions:

    X/10 rings = 20 inch circle
    8/9 rings = 44 inch circle
any white = 72 inch x 72 inch square outside of the 44 inch black circle
