    Howdy from Oklahoma


    Howdy, Bob's the name

    I'm a relative newbie at firearms at the ripe old age of 54. I've owned high end air rifles (Beeman R10) and air pistols (Beeman Hurricane) for 25+ years. Didn't become interested in firearms until we had some unstable people move in nearby and threaten a couple neighbors.

    Since that watershed event (3 years ago), I've acquired a Ruger LCP with laser (CC gun), Kahr CW40 (OC gun), and a Hi-Point .40 for practice and camping/fishing. In rifles I built a long range AR15 using a S&W receiver and RedX Arms 22" bull barrel. I'm currently finishing a close range AR15 using an AeroPrecision receiver.

    As far as rimfire guns, I have a Savage Mark II BTV and a Beretta Neos pistol with 6" barrel.

    I joined the forums because the Savage is my favorite gun to shoot by far.

    I hope to contribute as a learn more.
