Savage model 19NRA

Hi Folks
I have a 19NRA that I got from my father many years ago. Serial # 2810. Can anyone tell me when it was made and what type of sights (front&rear) were on it when new.

With that low a serial number I would have to say it's a first year, so 1919. The sights would have been like the ones shown here in a later catalog but the rear sight would just have one mounting screw like the one on the left, which is the earliest version.
