    M308

So I have a 308 model 11. I upgraded the Nikon scope to the Nikon M308 4-16. Using the original rails doesn't seem the scope has sufficient adjustment to zero scope with laser sight. Is there any adjustment that can be made in the rails?
    Thanks

    Jfrano,

What lack of adjustment do you have? Windage and/or elevation? I assume you have individual bases on the receiver. They are what they are short of bedding them for height alignment. Whereas a solid one piece picatinny rail (bedded if needed since some receivers have a height difference front to back) would be much easier.

    Did you change rings also?
Have you shot this rifle before?
That scope is of known quality.

Nikon's web site says it has a built in 20 MOA slope.
    What base are you using?

Shoot target at 25 yards Adjust elevation(will be 4 to 1) Stop when you are 1.5 low. move to 50 then 100.
