Built this with a stripped DPMS lower Brownell's had on sale a while back and had barrel turned by Jim at apache. It is going to be my woods gun for deer and pigs. Dont want to wade thru a briar patch for deer and don't want a PO'ed pig coming after me. As you can see not much barrel is sticking out so the stainless is really a moot point or at least should be as far as spooking game goes. Best i could get for weight is about 12 pounds with 10 rounds in the mag. The upper is DPMS and parts for the lower are DPMS. Gas block is Syrac Ordnance set screw type with click adjustment (should have got the clamp type). Recoil is not to bad but diamond cut butt plate does bite a bit. What little i have shot it has showed great promise so far but have not got a real load worked up for it yet. Now if Barrelnuts doesn't have a stroke from drooling over it i guess all will be good.

Seems like a more practical cartridge then the 458 socom or 50 Beowulf. Still plenty of bullet. I like it!
