    JR 1968,

No one here can tell you a nickname that your wife/gf will love, EXCEPT you. No one here can give you a pet load that your rifle will like, EXCEPT you.
Open your reloading manual, use a start load and enjoy the world of shooting and reloading.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.

I cant say my 25/06 is my pet, nor is any other for that matter.
But im using 51 gr 4831sc with a 115 Berger in mine.
Considering the shooter, it does pretty well.

Mine likes H4350 and H4831sc with 100 to 120 grain bullets. It also likes Ramshot Magnum with the heavies.

Well let me see. For the 25-06 There is RL22, RL22 and RL22. In a pinch you can use RL22 or RL22 If that doesn't work try RL22
Mine like their doses of RL22 served with Winchester brass Win LR primers and I have found the 110gr accubond to be stupid accurate and devastating on deer.
Though my 110 Sporter and 110FP shot pretty well with other powders, and both would shoot easily under an inch with something they like, RL22 makes the magic one ragged hole cartridges for me. (Each rifle has it's preferred charge weight of RL22)
Good luck and hey, If you're gonna shoot 25-06 you might as well try some RL22 :)
