Hey guys. My name is Preston and I'm 25. I've been shooting my whole life, but I am fairly new to reloading and building precision rifles. Most of my rifle shooting revolves around varmint hunting. My current project is my late fathers Model 12FV 223. I am working on getting into longer range shooting. I am waiting on a 260 REM 40* shoulder barrel from Mike Bellm. I joined the site to learn what goes into rebarreling a savage as well as obtaining the parts and knowledge to convert the bolt and magazine to accept the 260. I am also going to be in the market for a trigger to replace the accutrigger. I don't have any pictures or numbers off of the rifle I am working on but I will get some up later. I do have a few pictures of my reloading room, don't mind the mess, it was cleaning day. Thanks in advance for the help.

Where do you normally shoot in central Illinois?
Mainly in my backyard at steel, but the lane next to my house is good for 400 yds.
