    Feedback & Suggestions

Looking for some feedback/suggestions regarding the forum boards, particularly what ones you think could be combined or eliminated, anything that's missing that you would like to see, or any that could be split to be more specific. Wanting to compact and streamline things a bit, but would like to get some input from those who use it most before I start slicing and dicing.

If you look at the number of threads & replies per forum, you'll see which ones have little interest. The bottom 4 vintage forums come to mind. Or, all the vintage forums could be condensed to one forum.

That's usually how I usually gauge them, but I'm also looking for suggestions on things that may be missing that people would like to see added. Trying to figure out a way to get rid of some of the oddball boards without cluttering up others when moving all those posts (i.e. At the Range, Help Me Decide, My Build Thread, etc.)

    Some of my thoughts...
    1. The SavageShooter Shootouts have all but died off and become defunct so those boards could be eliminated and posts merged into Off-Topic
    2. My Build Thread could be made a child board to Picture Post or just combine the two
    3. Combine Bolt-action and semi-auto rimfire boards into one
    4. Combine M25, Shotgun & Muzzleloading and Striker boards into one all-inclusive "Other Savage Models" board
    5. Merge vintage combination, utility, pistols and oddities into one "Other Vintage Savage Models" board
    6. Going to talk to Berger.Fan222 to see whether he wants to continue doing the email matches for just a handful of people every month or discontinue them

Would like thoughts on going back to having one board each for Aftermarket Barrels and Stocks on the main board list rather than having multiple as child boards under different specific boards as well.

Made a lot of the aforementioned changes tonight. We'll see how this flies for a bit and see if it needs further tweaking.

I noticed the buttons in the bar under the banner logo are wrapping around when the browser window is restored. When the window is maximized they all line up (the "GunsAfield.com" button slightly overruns the search area). It's not a big deal, but if you're looking for bugs, it's the only one I've seen! Nice work!

Is it possible to make the default in the redirect pulldown "week" instead of "month" when moderating threads?

You blind old bats and your low screen resolutions. It's the 21st century, you should all have wide screen monitors running 1920x1080 by now. lol

Would like to see a pdf download option for the How To pages. Be great for offline use. Dolphin can do it but I have more browsers then I need already.
