    Savage 12 LRPV 223 Barrel

I think the barrel is about shot in my 223, SS large shank 1-7 twist. I need a factory barrel for the factory class competition I compete in, just wondered where I might look to find one?

Never had a "bad" barrel from ER Shaw. Last few came from GunShack.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.

Savage doesn't sell barrels, they will install them.

That's not too bad once you account for cost of the barrel and gunsmith. And I meant Numrich, not Natchez for the barrel. Check ebay too, I've seen barrels there a few times.

That seven twist LRPV is almost cheating in factory class. 77 or 89 grainers will shoot ity bity groups at 300.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.

I've been checking Ebay, as far as the gunsmith charges mine charges just under $20.00 to swap barrels.

I shoot 80.5 gr Bergers, the problem is I shoot mainly at ST.Thomas PA. and if you ever talk to anyone that has shot at that range it is notorious for its changing winds and its why grown men cry.

Wind you say, then you need a LRP 6.5 creed or 260 Barrel.
