    pattern spread


    Just fired 4 5 shot groups checking plinker loads and primers. On the third string vertical spread was less than 1/4 but the L-R opened up to almost an inch. I am sure it's me, but what am I doing? Savage 110 - 308 11gr Trailboss 150 gr Hornaday.

    That's not bad accuracy for a plinker load. You may have better results using a 190 or 200 grain cast gas check bullet with that powder.
