    New trigger for my 110

I have a 1980's vintage 110CL. The trigger pull was off the scale on my friends trigger pull gauge. When I adjust the trigger pull down, it would slam fire. The rifle shoots really nice groups but for hunting, the trigger has become a real issue. Unless the animal stands still, I started a tendency to jerk the trigger resulting in some embarrassing misses. I finally got around to changing the trigger. It took me a while to decide between Timney and Rifle Basix. For no particular reason I went with the Timney. I installed the trigger without any problems. There is such an improvement over the old trigger. I am scheduled to go to the range on 8/8 to test it!!!!

A bad trigger makes shooting a chore and a good trigger makes you smile, at least it does me. I can have a ugly rifle (most of mine are) but if the trigger is right I will enjoy shooting it. Enjoy!

I'm partial to the Rifle Basix but if the Timney does what you want good luck.
