A Big Thumbs Up for Gunshack

Ordered a Shaw barrel in stainless steel, 26" varmint weight, 30-06 on Monday and the barrel was at my door yesterday afternoon. That's the kind of fast service I like.

A 30-06 in varmint weight? Just how big a varmint do you plan to hunt? ..........T-Rex maybe? :)

That is quick service. That is the barrel that I would eventually like to put on the 116, so am looking forward to hearing how it works out. My guess is that it will be an awsome shooter.

No, it's going to be my 1k rifle. Finished the build yesterday afternoon. For now, I'll be using a 6.5X20X50AO Simmons Whitetail Classic scope. Action mounted in a bedded BVSS laminate stock. Making up loads today and will be test firing the set up tomorrow.
