Long action or short?

I'm new here so bear with me, I won a Savage Axis 7mm 08 in a local raffle and want to put a Boyds Featherweight Thumbhole Stock on it. So I went to the website to purchase but couldn't find any info that matched the measurements I got that would determine if it was long action or short. I measured the two screws that hold it together and got 4 3/4" center to center. I couldn't find any info on the Boyds website to determine if it was long or short. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've tried calling them numerous times and have been put on hold so I thought I'd try here.

yours is "short action". and you might want to order their trigger guard also, it's metal!

Had a hard time finding it as well go to the search bar and type in savage axis and I believe it will show up as one of the options.

i love the value of boyds stocks, have had 7 so far, real good quality ---- but their website is sorely lacking for finding stuff and for trying to login after registering.
