possibly another model 99/300 for collection

Have the chance to pick up a model 99 in 300 at a gun shop. Schnabel forearm,checkering on forearm and stock (also a pistol grip stock),only markings I could find is a letter "M" in front of the lever. Has brass counter, and what appears to be a (lyman) rear sight (hope that's what it's called). Rear sight has "marble arms" on it.. thinking it may not be the original as it also has the buck horn rear sight. It has been aftermarket D&T also. I was wondering what a good price might be for this? For some reason I can't post pics. It has a few small "character" marks on it... thanks for any info
