    Cool New from SW Ohio


    Greetings all. I've had and currently have several rifles. I recently took a trip to visit my brother in CO and shot his Savage Trophy Hunter XP in .270 Win. I loved the trigger on that rifle. So, I just today bought the same rifle. I'm hoping to get it to the range this week and see if I can shoot better than I did out there.

    Welcome. Keep shooting that new rifle and when you whittle down a good group, make sure to inform your brother that he needs to step up his game!

    Thanks for the welcome guys. Once I get the barrel broke in and the scope sighted in, I plan on working on some reloads. Still doing some reading on the OCW concept. I may have to give that a try. The nice thing is that when I find something I like, it should work well for my brother's gun as well.
