    What is the weight difference in these two
    1. Choate tactical
    2. Bell and carlson medalist tactical

    The difference between my Choate and the Medalist is 1/2 # Another difference is that when the reciever is drawn down in to the V-block on the Choate, it is in there solid even before you tighten it down. In the Medalist the reciever can "roll" in the stock before being drawn down tight. I haven't done it yet but I think it would help to scim bed the stock to get a more solid bed. Tried the Medalist and then put the action back into the Choate till I get the urge to do tackle it again. My Choate is the Ultimate Varmint not the Tactical, there might be a weight differnce between the two. Quick

    I don't know about B & C as they do not make any left hand stocks I need. I can tell you that Choate customer service is first rate.
