New savage owner

Hello all,

im a new to savage owner, mostly had been building and shooting rem 700. I've built a few rifles on the platform now and after reading quite a few threads on the savage floating bolt head thought I would try a savage 11/111 precision hunting rig. Bought a used 111 action and will be building a 6.5-06 from there. All parts ordered to do the conversion from .270 win.
except the stock. Wish there were more options😁!

after browsing the forums and seeing the amazing amount of shared information decided to become a member.

Cant wait a it to see what it will do and if successful can see savage becoming a platform to build on given the ease at which someone can swap calibers.
