    caveman cant upload pics help id a gun


    I just received a 303 savage lever from a relative serial# 23,021 on another website says its a 1902 but there are patent dates on barrel of 1893 to 1905? can anyone help I would like to see what its worth its in very good shape thanks for any helphttp://www.sava

    1. Go to a picture storage site like Photobucket. http://photobucket.com/

    2. Create an account.

    3. Upload pictures

    4. Go to picture and right click on the picture

    5. Using drop down menu and select copy

    6. Go to your post and right click in the post frame and click paste.

    Or you follow 1-3 and then use the 3 or four alternative ways to post a picture.
    The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.

    Sounds easy enough. But apperently my photo bucket account needs updating.

    using msn what do you make of the dates my uncle wasn't one to Frankenstein a gun it doesn't appear to have been modified in any way it hasn't seen the light of day in probably 25 to 30 years nice dry vegas weather has kept it in good condition

    The date finder on the Savage99.com site is notoriously inaccurate. Your S/N is far lower than anything I've collected in the past from others so I can't help ya, and Mad Dog probably won't be back to civilization for another 6-8 weeks or so. Have a few other pretty knowledgeable guys on here in terms of 99's so hopefully they will chime in and help you out.

    The other option is to have it lettered.
