Savage never offered the .222 Rem in the 110-series rifles, only the Model 340 and the newer Model 25 Walking Varminter in the past couple years. If it's a 110 and chambered in .222 Rem then it's an aftermarket barrel.
CORRECTION: Savage offered the 112V in .222 Rem from 1975-1978

They made the 112V in .222.

Yep, you're right - that's what I get for relying on my memory rather than looking at my cheat-sheet. 112V's were made from 1975-1979, but the .222 Rem was only offered through 1978.Originally Posted by sharpshooter
