    Changing bolt heads??????

Is there a good tech article on changing bolt heads on the long action? I want to put a 223 bolt head on a long action stagger feed. I read about special spacers and smaller firing pins and am looking for info that explains it all.

    Thanks.

I only found one article and it was just a exploded diagram. I've read about having to do something to the firing pin and something about a longer baffle. It sounded like there was a lot more to it than changing one piece, the bolt head.

You'll need and extended firing pin stop nut (I think that is what it is called). Sharp Shooter Supply has them. They can also help if you need anything beyond the stop nut and new bolt head of course.
