    Savage 112 .308 single shot?

So I traded online for a Savage model 112, heavy stainless fluted barrel, and Choate stock. Can someone give me an idea what type of 112 this is? I was a little surprised to see it was a single shot, it never occured to me to ask before finalizing the deal. Can you guys help me out and give me a little info on this thing? Thanks.

Sounds like you got a 112 target action with no cutout for a mag box. Very strong action that should shoot well with a good barrel.

partial SN some one may be able to say if you have an early or later target action. May be a custom build also.
