    savage model 11 vt new bottom plate


    Savage now stocks a metal bottom plate for the Model 11vt and 10 rd mags. Just changed it out today and cut off tab on stock mag that came with the gun so it will also work with new bottom plate. Much cheaper bottom plate than could find elsewhere.

    Is the OP talking about converting a factory blind box max into a detachable mag? If so, then yes, Savage does now offer that. I just spoke to them about it yesterday. It is a mag bottom metal ($19). I did not get a part number. They did tell me, however, they do not have 10 rd mags and referred me to Snyder Fabrication or Dark Eagle.
