    10t or 12fv

I am looking for a target rifle and am looking at these two in 308.

The 12fv is cheap with a crap stock that would need replaced. on sale at Cabelas for $404 after getting it delivered to my store.

The 10t is in an accustock, although I think I would prefer a target stock over the hunting stock it comes with, and has the detachable magazine. It also has a 5r barrel which supposedly will be more accurate. It also comes with an EGW scope rail and the tactical knob. price is $599

How much is the 5r barrel worth? What would you go with?

    thanks

The 12 FV shoukd also have a $100 rebate, that should make the decision a little easier to make.

I just bought the FV from Cabela's in .308. I have another 12 FVSS chambered in 22-250 that I have loved, bought it used about 4 years ago. It is completely factory and shoots lights out! I wouldn't hesitate to buy the 12 FV. It should only be $379.99 then $100 off from factory. At least that's what I just paid.

Well the fv is off the table, my store is out of them and none of the other stores that have it in stock will send it. Since it's a sale item they assume they can sell it even though there is a guaranteed sale here. Kind of pisses me off.

You can get the $100 mail in rebate for the 10T as well. I bought the 10T last year when Cabelas had it marked down to $549 plus i got the $100 mail in rebate on top of that. It shoots absolutely lights out. Half MOA shooter for sure with good ammunition. My reloads are quarter inch. The one thing I would get is the 10 round magazine but that's about it.
