    Grouping ????

Why is it I can shoot some good groups on one day 1/2" to 1" and I shoot the same exact load tomorrow or next week.and they open up ,or shrink.Does it have a lot to do with the weather ,temp, etc.?Anyone else notice this?

Yes Wind would be the biggest factor, if you don't believe wind affects a bullets travel you are fooling your self. Mirage, Light, humidity, temperature, condition of the barrel, also have a lot to do with how a gun shoots.

Most often it is the "fire control system" (the nut behind the barrel).

    Re: Grouping ????

I became much more consistant when I started shooting over wind flags. I just could not believe that almost no breeze and the gun wouldn't group any better than it did. After I started using flags, I found out that "almost no breeze" is one of the trickiest conditions to shoot in. The flags will show you that wind is completely changing directions between shots.
