Anybody ever run into this, need some advise.

I have developed loads.
338/284, but caliber should not matter.
I shot it on a short action developed loads etc.
Pulled the barrel.

Later put it on a long control feed magnum action.
I changed out the head to a .473 head, pin ejector etc.

Today I was setting the scope and just shooting it a bit
and all 3 of my previous good loads jammed the bolt.

I am not really sure it is really a load problem, or maybe there is a problem with the bolt head ??

Any help would be appreciated.

..I'ld be looking at the bolt head..Sounds like the head space might be off..

Head space is good. Its an old bolt head though and has some rough spots on it.
Just got back from a hunting trip so I have not had a chance to look at it.

I might just go ahead and order a new bolt head.

Your not have pressure problems are you?

I've heard it is possible that the load is too hot for this action and barrel combo but OK for the one it was developed in.

Never experienced that but have heard of it happening...

I guess it could be possible.
My loads are right at max.
