Is ita 20 or 25 MOA scope base or is it flat? Looking at it it seems to have a slight angle but I can't tell, my 1" tube scope when zeroed at 100 yards only has another 18 or so MOA of adjustment making it very hard to dial out to farther distances. I know it wont be super accurate at farther distances but I love smacking steel plates at 400 with my .17 HMR, I would think I could at least get to 300 with the .22 if I had enough elevation on the turret. If not I may have to put the 1" scope on my .17 and the 30mm on my .22. Im going to try to dial as much as I can and hold the rest but the math is tricky and easy to get lost in when your dealing with a mil dot reticule and MOA turrets. ideally the stock picatinny rail is flat and I can get a 20 MOA rail for it(my.22).

The scope base is made by EGW and is 0 moa as provided from Savage on the FVSR
EGW also makes a plus moa base you can purchase if needed
