    Stock Options

No, I'm not talking about investing :)

I built a .260 Remington last fall off of a model 11 action. The big issue then was finding top bolt release actions as there weren't many stock options with the bottom bolt release.

My questions is have the stock company's started to "catch up" on the changes to the actions and begin manufacturing stocks that will fit the bottom bolt release? I did see some new Chassis systems that will accept both bolt release placements but I'm not going to spend $1,000 on a chassis. I am seeing some good deals on actions but they are bottom bolt release.

The B&C M40 Varmint/Tactical is now available for bottom bolt release. I just got one for my Mod 10 PH Max-1 rifle and love it.

If you can avoid the bottom bolt release I would... I bought a 111 trophy hunter package a few years back and finding a long action bottom bolt release stock that I like has been a bit of a bear...
