howdy
Hey Yall,
I received a family heirloom a few years ago. It is a Model 1899 Savage 300 built in 1922. It has the rotary magazine with round counter and loaded chamber indicator. Many years ago, one of my uncles replaced the walnut butt stock and forearm with curly maple which I think is gorgeous. I suppose it may hurt the value of it, but it doesn't matter because I'll never sell it.
Hoping to learn more about the weapon and what it might take to get it back into shape for firing.
